From Carpool Lines to Client Relations: How We Found Our Creative Outlet Online

It’s kind of funny—I never thought I’d make the leap into the online world after spending so many years in schools. I’m a total extrovert who hates sitting still, so how did I end up choosing a job that involves... well, a lot of sitting behind a computer?

The truth is: it became a creative outlet for me (and for Alison, too!).

Alison and I are both stay-at-home moms to three kids each, so you can imagine—our homes are anything but quiet. While I’m knee-deep in nap schedules, carpools, and PTA meetings, Alison’s juggling curfews, extracurriculars, and college trips. Different stages, same chaos. In many ways, we’ve just shifted from teaching in classrooms to guiding our own little “students” at home. Our households are organized (ish), safe spaces where our kids learn, grow, make mistakes, and get back up again.

When Alison first launched Website Reimagined, LLC in 2022, it was her way of channeling creativity and staying connected. I soon realized I needed that same kind of outlet. WR offered us both something that was quiet and fulfilling—space to connect with others, challenge ourselves, and build something meaningful. And let’s be honest, there’s nothing better than seeing a client light up when they fall in love with their new site.

We’ve found our groove. WR has become our creative escape—one that beautifully complements our family lives. We deliberately take on a few clients at a time as our ongoing commitment to timeliness and efficiency. Much to our clients' pleasant surprise, they love having a polished, customized website in less time than they ever anticipated!

So... who’s next?
