Refreshing for Growth: Elk Ridge's Website Gets an Update

Since her original site launch, Donna’s brand had evolved—her client base expanded, her social media following grew, and she’d built meaningful partnerships with fellow small business owners and breeders. It was time for her website to reflect all of that progress.

WHAT THE REFRESH INCLUDED

The Elk Ridge update touched every key area of the site. Photos were replaced with current images that accurately represented Donna's dogs and available litters. Service and availability content was rewritten to reflect her expanded offerings. Social media links were embedded throughout rather than limited to a footer, making it easy for visitors to follow along on Instagram no matter where they landed on the site. The new Affiliate section was built as a dedicated homepage feature — clean, visual, and easy to update as Donna's network continues to grow.

The entire project was completed on Wix, which made the handoff straightforward. Once the refresh was live, Donna was able to manage routine updates herself — adding new litter announcements, updating photos, and keeping the content fresh without needing to call us for every small change. That kind of independence is something we build into every site we design.

THE RESULTS

Donna came to us with a site that no longer reflected the business she'd built. She left with one that did. The refreshed Elk Ridge website now accurately showcases her current dogs, litters, and affiliate partners — giving new visitors a clear picture of what makes her kennel different.
